I got to shoot off a rocket today at Science Camp. It was a pencil rocket and I got to push the blast off button. But, it was unhooked from the pencil rocket, so it didn't blast off. The guy that brought the rocket hooked it up then they counted backward from 10. When the reached 1, I pushed the button and the rocket blasted off one mile in the sky - SUPER HIGH!!! Then it came down with a parachute, but the parachute didn't open up and slow the rocket down.
On the second time we shot the pencil rocket, the parachute opened and it landed on the roof of the school! It was pretty funny. Two people had to climb up a ladder and get the parachute. No one in our class got the parachute.
